Target stick training for cats

A free five-minute cat training lesson from 5 Minute Pup. Follow the steps below, keep it positive, and end while you are both having fun.

1. Hold a stick or chopstick near your cat's nose.
2. Mark and treat any nose touch.
3. Move the stick and reward them for following it.
4. Use it later to guide them onto scales or into carriers.
