Frequently asked questions
Quick answers before you begin. Still curious? Contact us.
How much time does it take each day?
About five focused minutes. You can practice longer if you and your dog are having fun, but you do not need a long session to make progress.
What age dog is this for?
The lessons are made for puppies and adult dogs. Start where your dog is today, keep sessions positive, and move at a pace that feels comfortable.
Is it only for dogs?
Yes, for now. 5 Minute Pup is built for puppies and adult dogs. Other pets may come later.
What training method do the lessons use?
Reward-based training. We mark and reward the behavior we want, keep sessions to about five minutes, and end every session on a success. No punishment, no intimidation.
What if my dog already knows the basics?
Great. You can move beyond the starter skills and use Premium lessons and advanced plans to keep building stronger habits.
What does Premium include?
The other 61 lessons (101 total), full behavior plans for reactivity, separation anxiety, and leash manners, a dedicated 7-day recall track, adaptive coaching that adjusts the plan to your progress, multiple dogs on one account (up to 5), and cloud sync across devices.
What is the founding lifetime deal?
The first 200 buyers can get lifetime Premium access for a single $79 payment instead of $29 a year. The remaining count is shown on the pricing page and updates live.
Can I cancel Premium?
Yes. The annual plan has no lock-in, and you can cancel anytime in a few taps. Your free tier stays free forever.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes. If Premium is not right for you, contact us within 30 days of your payment and we will refund it in full. See our Terms.
Do I need an account?
No. You can start training right away and your progress is saved on your device. Creating a free account saves your streak and syncs progress if you get Premium.
Does it work as a phone app?
Yes. Open the site in your phone browser and choose "Add to Home Screen" or "Install" to get the app experience with an icon on your home screen.
Who wrote the lessons?
Nathan, an indie developer, wrote them from the routines he used to train his dog Teddy. They are not a substitute for a certified trainer for serious behavior issues.
